A beautiful wildlife book aimed at the very youngest readers, Hello Scottish Birds is a perfect partner to Hello Scottish Animals and an engaging introduction to some of our most famous – and fabulous – feathered friends.

It introduces Scotland’s iconic bird species with bold, accurate, but characterful drawings and a catchy, easy-to join-in-with refrain that helps young readers to ‘say hello’ and remember each bird’s unique characteristics.
From capercaillies to gannets (our favourite, just watch them dive!) and glorious golden eagles, there is plenty here to learn and to look out for. It may be ideal for toddlers, but this one is a treat for bigger bird-watchers too.
